The Special Education ESC Liaisons serve as connectors of resources and support to local education agencies (LEA) in an effort to proactively improve outcomes for students with disabilities. ESC Liaisons directly support LEAs in the differentiated monitoring and support process including: Results Driven Accountability (RDA), Significant Disproportionality, Cyclical, Targeted, and Intensive Support Reviews, Strategic Support Plans, and the Special Education Self-Assessment. Liaisons work collaboratively with LEAs to navigate the continuous improvement process.

Strategic Integration Liaison (SIL)

The Strategic Integration Liaison (SIL) assists to develop the capacity of LEA teams to effectively implement a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) or inclusion program, process, and framework to promote positive student outcomes through LEA systems change.
